As the weekend draws to a close, it is time to turn our focus to the week ahead. Take your diary and block out specific times for your training sessions. Then commit to those sessions like it is a job. If you are a professional rider, it is your job. For the amateur however, it is so easy to let life steal you away from your time in the saddle. In the same way that professional riders have to separate working on and working in their business, the amateur rider needs to ensure that they resolutely make time for their riding. So take your diary and allocate time for your training. Then give yourself permission to simply tell the world that at those allocated times you are unavailable.
Best wishes for a productive week,
Fiona
